# Edit 1.0.20261105-110628

Release notes for the macOS build signed 5 November 2026, 11:06:28 UTC and published at https://rustedit.dev. The GPU app and the terminal app share this version.

These notes start from the build published on Monday 27 October 2026, the last commit of that day (`4421b43`, UI polish, markdown preview, and the download, signing, and notarization workflow). Fifty-one commits follow it, through `9bb65ff`.

## Accounts and PRO

- Sign in with your email. The account receives a license, and PRO turns on in both apps once the account has purchased it.
- The sign-in card sits in the lower left, so the editor stays usable while you sign in.
- About shows the signed-in account. Sign Out ends the session on this computer and revokes it on the server.
- PRO covers IntelliSense and Skill autopick. The rest of the editor stays available on the free account.

## AI Assistant

- Claude Code, Cursor Agent, and Codex list the models installed with each tool. Models with several thinking levels open those levels, and Cursor models are grouped by family, with Fast where the model has it.
- The model menu has a Search models field. Typing filters the list. Recent models stay at the top.
- Agent Settings, on both apps: Autopick Skills (PRO), and for Cursor Agent, Run Commands Without Asking, Use MCP Servers, and Sandbox (As in Cursor, On, or Off).
- Check for Updates looks for a newer agent tool from the agent menu.
- Computer use lets an agent drive the desktop, with a preview of the screen it is working from.
- When an agent asks a question, the terminal shows an answer card. Numbered options at the end of a reply can be picked with a click, the number keys, or the arrow keys.
- Agent replies in the terminal are formatted Markdown. You can select and copy that text, and links open in the browser.
- The composer accepts several lines. A prompt sent while an agent is working waits its turn. Long runs fold their steps.
- A large git diff is shortened before it is sent to the on-device skill model.
- Cursor Agent still starts when the installed agent no longer accepts `--trust`.

## Editing

- Command palette in both apps. Command Shift P in the GPU app. Ctrl Shift P or F1 in the terminal. Type a few letters, see the shortcut, and run the command.
- The terminal app has the same color schemes as the GPU app: Turbo Vision, Cursor Dark, Cursor Light, and Violet Dark. Terminal, the default, uses your terminal's own colors. View > Color Scheme… previews a scheme as you move through the list.
- With Glass on, menus and popovers in the GPU app use a solid frosted sheet, so the text behind them stays covered.
- IntelliSense (PRO) runs language servers, including TypeScript. On macOS you can drop files onto the window.
- The Run menu can stash and commit, push, and start a GitHub Actions workflow you pick from Deploy.

## Downloads

- Both macOS builds are signed by Pavel Sich and notarized by Apple.
- The terminal build installs with `curl -fsSL https://rustedit.dev/install.sh | sh`. The same line updates an existing install.
